🍇 ViticultureSplit acacia stake: natural robustness in its most authentic form
The black locust or acacia is a naturally class 4 wood, which allows it to be in direct contact with soil or fresh water without undergoing any preventive treatment. Therefore, black locust posts are mechanically the most resistant in our range. All cuts of our black locust posts (acacia) are optimised to comply with sustainable development standards, with a tolerance of 5% for perimeters lower or higher by 2 cm from the stated section.
The split robinia (acacia) stake can be barked or not, with or without a chamfer at the top. Its cut along the grain of the wood makes it naturally very strong. However, the splitting leads to irregularities that in no way affect the strength and durability of the product.
Made using a traditional splitting method that follows the natural grain of the wood, this stake has excellent mechanical strength, making it ideal for withstanding the stresses associated with anchoring in various soils, even hard or uneven ones. Its natural and irregular appearance, typical of splitting, provides a rustic finish that is highly valued in natural environments or for uses where authenticity is sought. For certain needs, it is possible to choose between barked or unbarked split stakes, with or without a chamfered top, thus offering better handling and a stable attachment for wires, fencing, or other accessories.
